January

So January has been a quite month.

There have been quite a few thoughts started..but somehow haven't been able to frame & complete them.

There's a lot to pen down...but somehow it's happened that when the thoughts are flowing, there is no page around ..& vice versa.

Also, when there is a lot of pent up stuff, rather than pouring it out, the opposite happens & all which has to be thrown out... it goes in & takes up unnecessary place & causes a lot of friction until its pushed in the ignore/let go folder. Pre-occupies the mind so much too, till that happens! :O

Wish I could find it easy enough to flush it all away. Too many experiences, too many observations & a li'l of the way I am, has me this way.

Now that January's ended... am I not looking forward to a better February!!

..If not anything else, it's time to be happy just becoz it IS the month of Love. :)

Resolutions 2010

Every year I make resolutions & every year I try & follow them to quite an extent, except the really fanciful ones that I add only for effect & the good feeling it brings to me.

Good thing is, from the last year, the list is getting more realistic. Age does that to you...makes one stick to serious resolutions only... so that you could be serious about them. [Godd! Do I sound ancient?? :P]
Infact, the carried over resolutions from the past year[s] are the most important ones that need to be addressed.

Every year, I also elatedly tick a check on the resolutions achieved. :))
This years list looks more better achievable.. but have a few carry forwards to attend to first. So, excluding the carried forward ones, these are the resolutions of the new year.
[To Start & Stick to following all the resolutions jotted down.. is the uncounted top resolution!]

  1. I shall feed my love for travelling. Shall travel to discover atleast one good place this year.

  2. I shall start exercising again. Oh Yes! More for being healthy & feeling fine.

  3. I shall try to set a deadline for procrastination. [Yep..you read right. :D Honestly, that helps!]

  4. I shall start reading books! That good habit had got lost in a long break.

  5. I shall get back to gardening. [How I miss growing my veggies & colours!! :( ]

  6. I shall return the missed calls that I get. [Maybe not all....yet most of them. [That is a start!]

  7. I will finish the posts that I start....as well, I shall also finish & publish the posts that I start within 3-7 days. [Tough!]

  8. I will not be guilty of being vulnerable...just because something does not go my way. Had it gone right, would I ever feel guilty?

  9. I will NOT lose any more weight!! [LOL! Don't want to look sick... :P]

  10. I will more consciously for the environment & reduce my carbon footprint wherever I can.

  11. I have to learn to believe in the word "Trust" again.

  12. I have to find peace in whatever I do. [Since I learnt what is more important to me, I can't afford to lose time at useless places/things]
  13. I have to get around speaking decent Telugu! [After all, I can Read & Write it!]
  14. I have to be more receiving. [Will start accepting gifts.. :P which I would find very difficult earlier.]
  15. I have to get back to painting .
  16. I shall never stop: trying to be a better person; follow what I believe in, even if the odds are against it; lose hope when things look bleak; leave my good habits. [All these become the sacrificial lambs first thing.]
  17. & finally, Will Definitely express to my dearest people, in deeds & words, that they are most loved.

Grounded & achievable right? Let's wish at the end of the year, I gladly tick ALL off!! :) Happy New Year to All.
