Perhaps!

Have made this interesting observation on quite a many people; so here's my suggestion! ;)

Perhaps people in love should wear a "L" sign too, to make sense to others; their nonsense behaviour. Perhaps others would then understand, all the irrational behaviour these 'L' marked people behave in is due to this one overwhelming thing called Love!
Perhaps.

Destiny Tales!

I may not know a lot about love and lovey-dovey relations first hand.
But I do know first hand that relations - any kinds- are bound by destinies and not by emotional or practical decisions.

Tere Bin

I've always liked Punjabi songs. They have this instant pep-up-the-energy kind of feel to them and get one out dull moods instantly. Since the time I visited Punjab, I have more started appreciating Punjabi songs. Not all ofcourse are just peppy numbers, there are a lot of soulful songs too which have these Sufi type of beautiful tones to them. And in these some are absolutely terrific! [From my limited exposure to them.]

Here's putting up one of my all time favorites. Tere Bin Sanu Soniya........ Beautifully rendered by Rabbi. And this unplugged version is so much more soulful than the original. The original was taken off youtube, so here is another version of it:
It's afterall the season of Love..  Enjoy!

Lag Jaa Gale....

While I didn't stick to my every-month-post-one-song declaration, they had been songs that I had in my drafts section, which I somehow never posted. Here's one of them.

I haven't seen the movie but I like Sadhana's poise & Manoj's undecidedly mixed emotions to her.

Another slow melody.

A Beautiful Story

A beautiful story to share in the month I've dedicated to Love.

It is an episode narrated by a nurse:

" It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman, in his 80's, came in to have stitches removed from his thumb.

He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.
On examining his wounds I noticed it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his stitches and re-dress his wound. While taking care of his wound, we began talking.
I asked him if he had a doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. He told me that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired about her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was avictim of Alzheimer Disease (memory loss).
As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late.
He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now.
I was surprised, and asked him. "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?"
I had to hold back tears when I heard his answer. He smiled as he patted my hand and said,
"She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."

I realized that true love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, that has been, that will be, and that will not be. "

Reflections

It makes you sleep dreamily at nights, it makes you alive by free breathing, it makes your days fly, it gives you infinite mirthful joy, it makes you look forward to each new day, life becomes a breeze, every effort is worthwhile...

& it does not let you do anything without the constant content presence & realization of it.

*

It does not let you sleep at nights, it does not let you breathe deeply, the days seem to stretch beyond endurance, you are choked when you try to laugh heartily, it does not want you to face the days, life seems a task you have to endure, every effort a torment...

& it does not let you do anything without the constant afflictive presence & realization of it.

*********************************************************************************

Two sides of the same book. The content evolves by the pages unfolded giving the two sides two different reflections.
The euphoria & anguish of love is such that can negate the whole logic of logics.

No matter if you agree, no matter if you don't. No matter what you do, no matter what you don't. No matter how hard you try, no matter even if you don't. You can't escape it.

It's there & it comes atleast once in each one of our lives. Lucky are the ones who don't see heartbreak & luckier are the ones who are blessed to find it more than once.

Love.....n What Knot!

A sudden Smile...

..n the heart dives unexpectedly to the soles of the feet. When it regains itself & gets back inplace...the whole atmosphere's changed. In the span of a nanosecond, there's a biggest smile greeting the heart back & every fibre of the being is suddenly alive..blood seems to be flowing copiously in every nerve. & all this becoz of somebody else, who just smiled at you.

& that's only the begining...
The day becomes brightly better, the nights full of unseen stars..oh so poetic, but it actually feels that way. & you suddenly don't care even if you just missed the lottery prize to a world cruise.

...The melting of heart quicker than butter on a fire...& the stupid smile which plasters itself on the face... the happy song on the lips forever, the stress which dosen't seem to bother..the extra patience that you gain over everything..anger too becomes just another word in the dictionary...the music in your soul & so many 1000 other good things happen. Nothing seems to effect the heart which is on a high.

...& then it all goes missing for a while. You don't know what to make of it. The world becomes the loneliest place. Somehow, the sight changes, colours pale away from the trees, the flowers, the birds..even from the face. Everything else is fine, the way it should be..yet, just becoz someone's smile went missing from your life, ..that one missing smile dosen't make up to the world full of laughter around you.
Don't think..don't think...don't think!! That's what the mind keeps shouting then...Coz mere talking does not get heard. & if more the thoughts, then more the confusion..more the unclarity. ..& for the stupid deeds of the heart, mind gets on double-duty; striving for balance... for sanity.
The world is full of lovely people...yet what a difference only that one person can make to the being, is something perplexing.
What is this termed as...Is this that thing called Love? The perfect alibi to any such kind of irrational..unfanthomable behaviour?

If this is what it is..then who wants it? Why do people actually look forward to fall in love? (It is a fall afterall!) ...to find that one person among millions who'll make the blood running to the heart, hot & cold in a blink of the eye. The knots in the head...the knots in the heart...the tizziness of the head, the fluffiness of the heart. No clarity of anything... & a whole lot of uncertainity.
They say the journey should be enjoyed too, as much as the destination. But if this is what it's all like... Can do without it!
If all works out in the end, then it compensates for just about everything. But what when it dosen't? Then the only thing everything within you shouts in unison is: Love is not needed here...not welcome here... to assault, to cripple & take over...
...Never again...Ever Again!
